Great twist, I did not expect that!! I was thinking that Elizabeth was a witch or a squib that Dudley met while hiding.

i like that harry was speechless and standoffish....i can't see him warming up right away. magic baby...is that from dudley? or does elizabeth have it in her ancestry too?

Okay, I have to say that ordinarily I hate banter of the "tv drama" type; it's vapid and shallow. BUT ...I love the easy dialogue between ...everyone really. Harry and Ron really do sound like best friends who've grown up together, the Harry/Dudley friction was believable and expected, Ginny and Elizabeth chattering away, and the wonderful H/G moments we've seen so far. It's all just great.

Oh, and let me say again how grateful I am that Harry isn't giving Dudley a free pass. I'm heartily sick of stories that have Harry falling all over himself to forgive all those who have wronged him.

When I got this in my inbox I was almost afraid to open it because of the wank going around LJ last week... needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised to read this lovely review!

There's nothing you could say to please me more than to tell me my dialogue is good... I work so, so hard on making things seem normal, natural... believable. Like these characters are human who have normal human responses and not some bigger-than-life reaction to life's troubles.

Free pass and Dudley? Never. This fic is about atonement. There are no free passes when atonement is involved.

Now to get back to writing the dumb thing...
