I am back. It actually was overall an enjoyable experience. It definitely was not fun at times, extremely boring at others, and very tiring. But I think I'm glad I went. I did make it to regionals, but I opted not to go for various reasons. There are lots of stories about stuff that happened. Maybe I'll update later and talk about it. But I ( Read more... )

well i'm glad you had an overall enjoyable experience, after having been "99.99% sure" that it would be miserable. just think, if you could overcome those odds, maybe i could overcome odds of 99.9% ;-) well anyway, i'm glad it was better than you thought. congratulations on doing well in your audition, and also it's good that you could decline going there. i didn't know that was a possible outcome, but i think it is the best one for you. now as for the bedtime issue, i think being physically in bed by midnight on a friday should at least count for some small thing :-)
