PAST/HISTORY: For being born in the slums to a younger woman, Roxas’ life was pretty good at first. His mother always had some way of making at least enough money to buy enough food to feed both of them for the night, sometimes two, while at the same time managing to look after her son. The situation remained the same for years, until Roxas was seven

With his mother gone, Roxas learned to live on his own and support himself, taking little, simple jobs here and there when people hired him. It never brought in much, but at least it was something, he’d tell himself.

Along with learning to survive, Roxas also learned how to defend and protect himself after a certain incident that left him unconscious. His first opponent had been a metal trash bin, and his first weapon, a rotting tree branch. He practiced and practiced (poor trash bin D: ), and the next time he was attacked, he was more than ready; taking everybody out in a matter of minutes.

Today Roxas is doing a little better, but only a little. He’s managed to get himself a job in the middle class area as a delivery boy three days a week, returning to the slums every night after a hard days work.
