Most people who listen to things on mtv are posers. Have you seen Benji and Joel's highschool picture or whatever? Do they look punk there? No. And look at most of the fans they are getting.

So what if I listen to stuff thats on mtv? I listen to it and watch the videos. I don't even like half the shit they play. And yes I have seen their high school pictures. I don't care how they look, and I don't put people in categories(like punk) unless I have no other choice. So what about their fans. I've been a fan of theirs since right before thei first album came out. I like them because of their music,and because they are kool ppl. NOT because they r on mtv.

you sound pretty cool. i liked lots of GC's stuff in their first album. they are still good even though all of these pop princesses started idolizing them. i mean they cant help their crowd,it doesnt make them bad at what they do. it would be like telling someone becuase people started to like them, the fakeness fairy sprinkled them with insincerity dust!

yea thats basically the way i feel... i mean the can't help that they were on trl(etc.) n now have all these lil teeyboppers after them n stuf... but they still love what they do and they r goodat it and its not gonna stop them
