Drawing Tutorial-Outline
Keep in mind im no master myself and remember to use guidelines sadly my camera didnt show up my guidelines because mines so light. The outline was sketeched in a 2B pencil.
Like all good portraits this one has a reference picture. You dont need to draw the same one as me but yeah I could draw this man. In my sleep anyways so here we go.
heres your first step. draw a demented looking U shape and then add two small lines to serve as the neck
sketch in his shirt and jacket. I cant really explain this but looking at the picture may or may not help
making sure you used guidlines to make everything proportional sketch in his mouth. Mouths are a pain in the ass to draw so dont be discouraged if yours isnt perfect because neither is mine
following your guidelines yet again add the bottom of his nose.
now here comes the fun part. Eyes. Eyes are like a dememented oval shape. remember not to draw them TOO big or too far apart you can use the sides of his nose as rule of thumb were to draw his eyes. Dont make the irises too big either and add a guideline of the upper lid. Know who it is yet?
eyebrows arent too hard just be careful on placing them above the eye correctly. Since this is an outline I've only drawn a few lines to show were the eyebrows are going to be.
last but not least we add an outline for his hair and ear. Reconize him now? Shading tutorial next itme!
