So my birthday was yesterday as you can tell from my last post. I'm gonna actually write about it because it's actually pretty good for the most part.
because that's when we arrived at the bowling alley. We waited for about 30 minutes and then decided to start up the lanes. This is when I find out that the price was way more than I thought. They told me $14 over the phone, but they never told me it was $14 a person. So, with me being disappointed, we obviously had to leave. So we all headed to Downtown at the Gardens. I was upset because I couldn't get a hold of some people to tell them that I couldn't have my party at the bowling alley and I didn't want them showing up and freaking out on me later. Anyway, we decided to head to Johnny Rocket's where we took pictures and acted crazy. I opened up my birthday cards and presents and I loved everything I got! So the people at Johnny Rocket's came out with icecream and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me, along with everyone that was there. We had all concluded that this was way better than the bowling alley and that it was a great party. Well, I went to Inksters to go get my lip pierced and that didn't happen because of the fact that the piercer wasn't there. I was totally upset. Courtney and I are just gonna have to do that on Monday. So the party basically came to an end at that point. Sarah T, Sarah G, Courtney, and I went to see Phil. Then we actually went separate ways. Well, Sarah G. and I went to her house because she was gonna help me promote for the Norma Jean show on the 21st. So we went to my house then to Respectable St. and handed out fliers. Unlike last time, there were more people there and they weren't jackasses about getting fliers. So Sarah and I walked around a bit. We were actually looking for members of Strike Anywhere, Bane, and This is Hell so I could get them to sign my bowling pin that I got from Jupiter Lanes. We did find them, but this was at 7pm. We found the singer from Strike Anywhere and the drummer from Bane. I was too nervous to say anything to them for one odd reason or another so Sarah went over to them. She then told them I wanted to talk to them and that it was my birthday today. They said happy birthday, signed my bowling pin and then the singer asked me if we were going inside. I told him I didn't have any money. So he said he'd put us on the guest list and that if we wanted to come in we could. So, I was freaking out. I couldn't believe that that had happened. Sarah and I headed inside. The entire time we were ouside, I was looking for the singer of This is Hell. When we got inside, we saw him and I was too nervous to go talk to him. We watched A Global Threat, listened to Bane and then watched Strike Anywhere. The entire time I kept looking at and/or for the singer of This is Hell. Sarah kept telling me to go talk to him because she knew I would regret it later, but I was too shy to go talk to him. This 25 yr old guy said he knew Sarah from somewhere and that he always sees her at Rays. He said he'd been seeing her for the past 5 years and now Sarah's creeped out. He knew she goes to Gardens and that he sees her because he lives behind Gardens. He asked her what year she was and she told him 2009 and he was like 'So that makes you 17?' and I'm like 'No, dude. She's 15!' and he's like 'Oh! Whoa! I shouldn't be talking to you! I'm 25!' He was just too weird. He was like 'Want something to drink? I got closed bottles of water in my pocket.' And she obviously declined. He then had to head off but asked her if she would say hi to him the next time she saw him. She said yeah, but we all know it's not gonna happen. Anyway, after the show ended we were walking outside and we saw the singer from This is Hell. I refused to go talk to him, but he was walking by and Sarah called out to him and he stopped and came over. Sarah told him that I wanted to talk to him and he was like 'Okay! What'd you wanna talk about?' and we all shared a laugh. Then I told him I adored his band and that I would really like it if he signed my bowling pin. So he did and I talked to him a bit about his brother (Who's in Nightmare of You) and I then told him that the next time they came here, I'll definately be there and he said that they'd be back in Janurary/Feburary. He then left and we went over to the singer of Stirke Anywhere and waited while people were talking to him. He saw us then came to us and told me happy birthday again and then we thanked him. After that we went over to Rays and gave Ray $5 for his benefit show he was having to fix his AC and he was like 'Are you serious?' like we were joking and we said yeah and we were like 'We're here all the time! We should donate!' So he hugged us and we left!
That was intresting....not as long as the rest of the stuff I usually write.
