Talking on the phone only works if its by necessity really...like if your friend lives in another state or something...other than that, it doesn't really make sense.

I did my interview for Pitzer over the phone and bombed it.

Anyway, I usually call someone twice... well not usually, but sometimes. I will call twice because sometimes people just don't hear their cell phone. Tha happens to my friends a lot. But I never leave two messages, that's just silly.
