1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Got to be 1st choice goalkeeper, Got my own apartment in Reading, bought my own car, got a permanent full time job, visited scandinavia, had a proper CD made... it's been a good year. Oh, and surgery. To remove wisdom teeth. Fun.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
My only resolution was to never turn down the opportunity to do something/have fun when presented... I've done alright on that, I do a lot more stuff these days and I'm having a lovely time.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not so much close to me but a friend of a friend. The kid is extremely cute.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.

5. What countries did you visit?
Denmark, Scotland

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
The usuals

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Hmm, a couple - but especially 31st March for that epic 'size gig in Manchester and the resulting fun post-set. Brilliant.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting a proper job? Didn't do much to get it though... I've worked hard since being there though. I'll choose that.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I didn't get hench, still.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Strained Knee ligaments, couple of colds and a resurgent cat allergy since moving out of home.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My Car. Love. it.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Andy (FIST), Ben (BAMBI), Bailey, Daniel, oh fuck it - everyone. Everyone has been amazing this year.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Oh, fuck knows. I've been having too much fun to care.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent, Fuel, Going Out, Gigs, Wagamamas, Football (season tickets and match fees...)

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Oceansize (still), Moving Out, Roskilde, New Car, Getting the job

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Oceansize - Superfluous To Requirements and Mates of State - Back to the 80s

17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
Much, much happier!

Slightly fatter.

Richer, but that's a) not difficult and b) not saying much.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercise?

Work

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with my family, just how it should be done. It was ace.

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
No sir

23. How many one night stands?
None you utter FILTHMONGER

24. What was your favourite TV programme?
24, Prison Break or Arrested Development... probably Arrested Development by a whisker.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate? Nah

26. What was the best book you read?
Steven Gerrard's autobiography was a stonking read. I'm currently on "To Kill A Mockingbird" though, I'm well in to that.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
errrrrr Mates of State, Starlight mints and Mum, to name but a few. Oh plus David Bazan's solo stuff.

28. What did you want and get?
A GREAT YEAR

29. What did you want and not get?
A massive TV

30. What was your favourite film of this year?
The Prestige was brilliant. Saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang for the first time this year, that was great too. Children of Men was really good.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
Umm not a lot, midweek and working. I turned 22.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A few things, but I'm not complaining - it was well good.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
90% American eagle.

34. What kept you sane?
People

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Ashlee Simpson, of course.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
errr Tax. Gimme mah money, foo'.

37. Who did you miss?
Yer mum

38. Who was the best new person you met?
A recent acquisition... splendid addition.
