Leaving for Melbourne on Thursday. Any last minute tips or suggestions of things that my parents and I can go to? I don't want to be stuck looking at craft the whole time. :P I need variety.

if lou like something a bit different, go to the old melbourne gaol. they do these night time tours (must book) which are fucking creepy. the old melbourne gaol is where ned kelly was hung - they have a morbid collection of death masks where they used to make a plaster cast of the persons face after they were hung. creepy as......

yeah i went there last time, didn't do a tour though. The place was creepy enough in daytime! Those little cells! And the ricketty metal walkways and the deathmasks and... yuck. Interesting though. Thanks for the suggestion!
My fiance and I just returned from Melbourne! We did several neat things that weren't too expensive. :) We enjoyed Melbourne 360 at the Rialto towers, where you can see Melbourne all the way around from the 55th floor. :) It was awesome.
We also went to a video game exhibition called Game On that should still be on if you're interested at ACMI (site here: http://www.acmi.net.au/game_on.aspx)
I also recommend something we didn't get to do b/c we didn't book in time...the Chocolate Lover's Tour (site here: http://www.chocoholictours.com.au/).
I hope you have fun! We did. :) Have to go now, but feel free to comment back for suggestions on food places. :)
