Brisbane would be the girl that is nice to everyone and that everyone likes well enough but nobody is really interested in.

Perth would be intimidatingly smart, and would come off as a bit unfriendly but really just be shy.

Disclaimer: I don't really know either city very well.

This might be because it's 4am here, but I don't quite get what you mean...even though I'm pretty sure it's funny and clever and I'm just being dense because it's 4am and I'm still working.

Well, I'm not sure about Melbourne or Perth but I can help with Brisbane.
I've lived along the coast all my life and always loved it.
I guess out of all the states and territories Brisbane is more relaxed. We are a state by ourselves I guess, our laws are different as is our time (we're an hour ahead).
Brisneyland or Brisvegas (as it's be dubbed) is a very cool place to live. Everyone is friendly. You may find yourself waiting in line at the local Woolworths or Coles to be served and have the person in front of you strike up a converstaion.
Or be walking along one of our gorgeous beaches and have someone fall into step with you a start talking about the weather.
We're quite a happy, friendly, lazy bunch :)

I'm a perth girl :) and I think perth as a person would be like 'fuck my mates (melbourne brizzie) are all the way ova there, wonder if they can hear me?!'

Oz became not an option because I need a hip replacement, and the gov't doesn't like gimp immigrants. I was very disappointed, though; I'd developed a real desire to live in Brisbane or Perth!
