your donghyuk is perfect. i love the role reversal you have going on in regards to the typical jock/nerd trope, and jfc, i can just picture donghyuk unbashedly and unashamedly staring at junhwe across the cafeteria so well, because. why not? he likes him. he's nice to look at. and throughout the entire fic is complete blase and casual attitude in regards to his pursuit of junhwe like: "I like you," Donghyuk says, eyes wide and honest. donghyuk pls give me your confidence. Wow, I just. Where do I begin?? I love how your Donghyuk is so straightforward and self-assured despite that nerd label, and how he makes up for all Junhwe's shortcomings (i.e. complete and utter failure) in the romance department u__u I feel like high school aus are tough to bring something new to since they're done so often, but I really loved this! Probably because I've read the comic series you said this was loosely based on, I was expecting some variation of a shy nerd Donghyuk, so I was very pleasantly surprised!!

"You know, I thought you were a lot cooler than you turned out to be. You don't act like you look."

"I am totally cool," Junhwe says, indignant.

THIS SUMS JUNHWE UP SO WELL. I feel like this has been said a million times before but it's so amusing how much of a loser Junhwe is considering how cool he appears, and you brought that across so nicely! Also, as much as I adored the Donghyuk/Junhwe dynamic I absolutely loved every minor character appearance. "Soohyun, huh?" Bobby says after a minute,
