maaaaggie, what to say. i'm so glad to know you and call you a friend, and i'm so happy i got to see you in person so many times this year (and the time still to come)! thanks for enabling my weird flights of fancy and also being the best mom friend, for screaming with me about hockey players and hockey coaches and the podcast men and their fluffy doodles, for answering my dumb questions about politics, for always being willing to be added to the latest google doc, for being indulgent when i'm spamming you with links on gchat. it's been a long and hard year but i've been so #blessed to have you in my life! i hope the next year brings you wonderful things, especially after the rough fall/winter you've had, because you deserve all the best. i hope you have a lovely holiday season and get a chance, before 2018, to finally relax a little bit.

You are honestly such a delight. You make me laugh so frequently and enable all my fannish obsessions. It's always the most wonderful to hang with you, no matter if we're enjoying culture or sloth-ing on a couch somewhere. It's so wonderful to me that we talk frequently and that you make me feel safe enough to tell you literally anything and everything as it's not super natural for me to open up about things. So thank you so much for doing that for me. It's also always such a joy for me to see you interact with your other friends because it's so easy to tell how highly everyone (rightfully) thinks of you.
