We've been through so much together. I can't even begin to remember. It feels like years, feels like so many cups of tea and cupcakes were exchanged and I always miss you whenever I do things, because there is a place that only you can fill and it's hard, sometimes, to take it in, to take in the fact that there's always a little hole somewhere in my heart because we're far away.
But it's like old stories: it starts with distance and it ends with a long-lasting friendship and old people that we are going to be, sharing a garden and gossiping around crumpets and shortbreads. We'll see trees grow old and some of them die, flowers popping up in their bright shades and the unfailing idea that life is okay because we can rely on each other.

I love you and I cannot imagine a life without you in it. I'm so glad I met you and I'm not letting you go because you're too important to me, and I'm childish and annoying and generally acting like a very stupid kid, but I love you because you're the bestest of best friends.

you are one of the most beautiful, brilliant, lovely people i have ever had the pleasure of knowing, online or off.

and it is my fervent hope that one day you will be able to love yourself as much as so many people love you, and that one day you will see yourself in the light and clarity in which we all see you:
