Apartment!
So J. and I have been looking for a place to live. We have been searching around because she needs to move and I want to move into a place where I might have a door! That would be great! I would like a door!
Last night, she and I went out to look at a few ... the first one we got to - we loved! It's at Clark and Venables (I know - G's gonna be an EAST VAN BOY??)
We looked through the suite and really liked it, so said to her that we would like to put our names in for the place. She said that she had to show it a bit still, but would let us know.
Two hours later, she called to say "I forgot to tell you that you probably won't get a couch in through the hall, but if you want it anyways, it's yours."
YAY March 1st is the move date. Same amount of time on bus to get to UBC for me than from our place in the westend (maybe an extra 5/10 minutes, but whatever!) and close to the new VCC/Clark Skytrain!
I hope that everything continues to go as well with all of this ... I can't wait to be happy in a new place.
J. and I have to determine whether or not we want to get someone into the third bedroom. OH RIGHT - I haven't talked about the place itself!
3 Bedroom, all utilities, washer and dryer, beautiful bathroom and kitchen. And it's only $950. If we were to just stay the two of us ... then $475 each ... but if we add a third person it takes it down to $300-ish each :) that would be SWEET!
Ok ... well - calming down a little bit :) Can't wait to have housewarming party! :)
