Slow improvements
For the first time in a long time I've had a genuinely good week. I don't feel as crushed as I normally do, and I've been able to do some of the things I enjoy. A return to normalcy is enjoyed. -
One down, hundreds to go
My first class is over, and was more than a little bit of a let-down. It's the first class though, and I was warned that it would be a short one. I also need textbooks, so time to save up my pennies. Back again in a couple of hours for my second class. -
Back to school
Tomorrow I start school again. I'm hoping to use this journal to encourage me to keep attending class. It's funny, but I find I only do well in the courses that I actually show up for lessons for ( Read more... ) -
Yes, I'm still alive
I'm still alive, still dealing with what's going on, and still not ready to talk about it all. Family life is going well, the Christmas season is on, and I'm set with enough employment to make sure that it's at least a satisfyingly merry Christmas. -

It's that time of year again.
It's that time of year again when we break out the festive spirit. I've purchased my carton of egg-nog, and already drunk it. Purchased a tree(artificial), and it's already up and decorated. Just when you think you're over it.
I went to a Christmas party with my kids yesterday, and there was a clown handing out balloon animals to the kids. As spooky as most people find clowns, I didn't have a problem with that. Interesting phone call
I just got a call from Canadian Tire's bank security department. Someone just called them and tried to activate my Canadian Tire Mastercard. Which is interesting, since I've never received a Canadian Tire Mastercard. Canadian tire told me that they'd give me a gas card that would give me a discount buying gas from them, and didn't bother to tell ( Read more... ) -

Sick, and tired, literally.
I'm back from a week-long stay at the scenic local hospital, where, as a Canadian, I had an all expenses paid visit. I had regular meals in the form of I.V. bags for the first few bags, nothing by mouth, then it was clear fluids only, where I find out that my dislike of jello shots is probably based on my dislike of jello.
