Just for my favorite minion

Jan 08, 2006 17:48

Just for you girl, i've decided to post some more of my story (which is now preliminarily titled "Thirteen Times a Day") it's not right after the last post, but its the basis of the characters (and proof of just how bored and insane i am)

“A sibling reunion at last. How’s every body. We’ve thirteen siblings now, pray tell all about them. And do make yourselves comfortable.” Raphael said with false cheerfulness.
“You must remember your siblings, Jon, Florence, Charlotte, and Ronald, they’re fine, as is Dilla. Now you ran away right after George was born, right?” Cria asked and proceeded without waiting for an answer. “You were seven at the time according to Jon, he still misses you, you should go see him, sense he does happen to be your twin. You remember Jeovanni, he’s just like you, a rebel through and through, talented, yet refuses to follow rules.”
“George is level headed and cunning, like his mother in that sense.” Duo added. “The Middle twins, Grania and Labyrinth, are both wild and just like Cria here.”
“‘The Children of The Pirate Queen.’ is what Father always called us.” Cria quipped.
“ Terrors of Civilization is more to the point. Grania and Cria love nothing better then attacking their siblings in the middle of the day, terrorizing the neighbors’ boys and making Cherry go crazy, although it is pretty funny watching Cher chase the girls around the house.” Duo laughed.
“I’m not as bad as Nia, and Cherry is to full of her self, she could use the reality check every now and again.”
“I’ll agree to that. Now who’s next?”
“Cherry’s girls.”
“Ah yes, the flower girls, there’s Tulip, she’s her mother’s copy. Zinnia is ok, she’s pretty smart too. Lilac is very shy, always hiding in Tulip’s skirts. The youngest, Impatients is a devil child, wild as the twins. Although personally I blame Serpent, Tarot, Flare and Marlin.”
“Who?” Raphael asked.
“Our house guests. They’re druids. Jon brought them home from one of his visits with Aunt Bette. She was Cilia’s best friend. Bette is a priestess , and she asked Jon to take care of some the orphans of her clan.”
“They’re loads of fun. Of coarse no-fun here will tell you they were hell spawn.”
“They are the children of the devil himself. I feel you will understand me, Raph. If your sister’s friends wake you at one o’clock in the morning, drag you out in your knickers, and make you fence outside on the frosted ground, barefoot, would you not agree that they were born by the devil?”
“I think I will agree. The house sounds like a very different place from what I remember.” Raphael replied, warming up to his younger half siblings despite himself.
“And we haven’t even started on Dad’s war buddies, Cherry’s older girls or her son that keeps flirting with my sisters.” Duo told him.
“Dad’s buddies teach us interesting things, the older girls, Rose, Carnation, Daisy and Chryse, leave us alone, Basil means no harm, and don’t forget Chrome, Aly, Ore, Khode, and Vala,.”
“My goodness, how many people live in your house?” Raphael asked.
“It’s your house too, you’d be welcome back. And that’s about it. Jon dismissed all the servants except Chrome, our driver, and Cherry’s maidservants. Chrome is Aunt Bette’s younger brother. Aly is his adoptive daughter.” Cria started.
“And the little sister of everyone’s favorite terror, Tarot.” Duo interrupted.
“He’s not that bad.” she retorted, “anyway; Ore, Khode, and Vala are their cousins, as well as the siblings of Flare. Oh and there are two gardeners and two guards”
“It sounds like a school for troubled youth to me. How old are all these youngsters?” Raphael asked.
“Let’s see, Dilla is twenty-four now” Duo started “Ronald is twenty-three. Charlotte and Florence are twenty-two. Daisy is twenty-one. Chryse and Jeovanni are twenty. George, Basil and Ore are eighteen. Nia, Abbs, and Tarot are seventeen. Cria, Marlin, Serpent, Khode, Vala, and I are sixteen. Aly, and Tulip are fifteen. Flare is fourteen. Carnation is thirteen. Rose is Twelve. Zinnia is ten. Lilac is six, and Impatient is two.” Duo said.
“Definitely more like a school, not a household.” Raphael said. “Who’s in charge of everything?”
“Cherry thinks she is.” Cria said, “But we all know that Jon and Charlotte are really in charge. Even Basil respects Jon. You’re a lot like him.” She stood up, “if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be right back.”
“I do hope that was a compliment”
“It is, believe me.” Duo said “she likes Jon as much as she likes me, except she doesn’t spar him as often. He’s too deft with his sword, so she says it takes to long to beat him.”

there, next i'm going to post a clip (that i'm very annoyed with) about a character (that is suprisingly charlie-esc) and you'll have to tell me if i should keep it (first i have to type it from all the random papers it's on now)
