This was just one of those "tests" I think, which would get some sketch illustrator's creativity flowing - and really get to know what the dude must of been thinking.
After looking at it again, two weeks past uploading. It's easy to see something different about it. Sometimes the idea looks all so good when it's going from Head-to-Paper that it's difficult to recognize stuff.... such as "is it proportionate" or "does the eyes match just right with the bridge of the nose."
Sometimes - it just happens. The First Draft drawing works.
