Noah Hartell
Age: 19
Position: Inventor, daughter of General Robert Hartell, Officer of His Majesty's Imperial Guard
Throne Ambitions: Nope. She's quite content to remain away from politics.

Personality: Noah isn't the type of person that really likes to interact with others. She's quite content to spend her days absorbed by machines and equations and gears. However, if you like the same things she likes, then she'll like you. She enjoys to try to invent things out of really random objects, and it can occupy her for hours. Even if they're quite incompatible objects.

She has a very loud mouth and most of the time, it is spilling out curses and swearing like a sailor. She tries to reign it in when around other members of the nobility or the royal family, but she has a hard time keeping it in check. It will normally just slip out if something doesn't go the way she planned. The machines she works with, as well as the other scientists and mechanics, are all men. And seeing as she doesn't much act like a lady, they don't really treat her like one. For all intents and purposes, she's just another one of the guys to them.

Despite all this, she really does have a secret fondness for some girly activities. She loves chocolate, and really looks forward to dressing up for balls. Even though most of the time she doesn't have an enjoyable experience at the parties. It's the thought and the process that she likes, more than the actual event.

Character History: As much as General Robert Hartell wanted a son, he got a daughter. His wife died shortly after Noah turned 3, and so he was left to raise her on his own. He tends to blame himself for her rather unfeminine approach to everything, although she tries to tell him that she would have been this way, regardless.

Her father retired from active military duty when she turned 13, although he still remains a close advisor to the King. He hoped that, despite his ten years of entrusting her to a maid, he would be able to raise her as befitting a noble's daughter. Too late, he found out, for she had already developed quite a love for taking things apart and putting them back together again. One of her favorite "play toys" being her grandfather's pocket watch that was kept with the rest of her late mother's belongings.

From an early age, Noah had already developed a love for gears, machines, the sounds of mechanical hearts working. Watches were an early conquest, being the most simple things to tell when they were working or not, and having the most interesting interiors. From there, her love went to more complex inner workings and she began to catch on to the creation aspect. A perfect example of a steampunk mechanic.

A few years later, the king had granted Noah her own workshop in the vicinity of the palace. Later still, as she worked towards the chance to be accepted into the league of scientists and mechanics that were respected in her line of work, she met the Crown Prince, Locrine. And even though she doesn't have much interest in the royal family or it's squabbles, it seemed that he didn't either. They are currently plotting on how to build an airship to become pirates of the skies.

Tuesdays are also domino days.

PB of choice: Nicoletta from Ristorante Paradisio. Short strawberry blonde hair, brown eyes, not a very feminine figure. Almost always covered in oil and grease.
