* Bella[SuperMario`d] also ZOTS the goombas with her death ray and its 8-bit glory, since there are a couple over here.

* Jeff[sunglasses] pulls down his shades and looks closer, a smile slowly creeping over his face. His eyes are yellow and slit-pupiled, with no whites. "Oh, this is *rich.*"
* `Midna is done with the game, keeps fiddling, opens up a blank circle and starts drawing on it...
* Some eyes Jeff with a moment of active dislike, before it's concealed.
:O *She's fighin' BOWSER, ho snap*
**BA-TOOM. Bowser turns into a goomba that drops into the lava upside down. ...It's about that point she notices the axe.

* Bella[SuperMario`d] 's sprite stands there as she goes through a bit of an annoyed cursing fest--as, once again, sprite limitations don't show this actually happening.
* Jeff[sunglasses] sits back and watches, clearly enjoying himself.
* Eddie_ walks in. Oh, thank god, it's this place.
"It appears to be a Nintendo Famicom unit of dubious quality," Aigis says, belatedly in response to Jeff's earlier query. "I believe this is one of the Mario Bros' games, but ... it does not look like the version I have seen before."

* Bella[SuperMario`d] jumps for the axe, and completes the level! Dootododooo dototododoo doo doo doo doo? And that's when she's shot out of the game world and straight--due to where he's sitting--onto Jeff with a surprised curse in German.
* `Midna 's random drawings seem to morph in themselves as she makes them. Finally she notices the holoscreen forming something that looks like ^_~ on both sides. Blinks. Wipes it clean.
Dubious? Don't insult him.

* Eddie_ is a slim, red-haired guy somewhere in his twenties, in a stupid orange asylum outfit thing.
* Jeff[sunglasses] is knocked head over heels, his coffee going *everywhere*. There's a lot more surprised curses from Jeff, in Latin, Greek, Hebrew and Enochian.
* Aigis briefly has a giant red exclamation mark appear above her head. She does not notice this happen. "What ... was that?"
* Basil[human] emerges from under the box after a bit of shuffling. He's now wearing nondescript trainers, cargo trousers, and a long suit jacket, under which is a hoodie. He's tall and lanky with thick, messy light-brown hair and appears to be of indeterminate age.*
* Some waves to Eddie. "Hey. Want some chocolate cake?"
*He also emerges just in time to see /this./*
"-Gah!-" She gets up and dusts herself up and groans, "That was an exceedingly surreal experiance" ((BRB, need to walk dog))
* `Midna grabs the orb and the screen winks out again.
"Bella! That was so *cool*!"
<`Midna> "I need to go." She says, standing.

"I don't understand any of this." Join the club, Aigis.
* Jeff[sunglasses] picks himself up with exaggerated dignity and refills his coffee. "Oh yes. Very entertaining."
* `Midna passes by Snake on her way out. "Goodbye, Snake. I hope you find a way back to your mission."

* Aigis eyes the Famicom dubiously, uncertain as to how she might go about raising the question of how a decrepit, ancient piece of gaming technology (that, admittedly, Junpei would probably pounce her for not stealing immediately, if she thought about his feelings on the matter right now) could gain what appeared to be malevolent sentience, as well as spatial distortion capability.
