So, I finally broke down and bought a laptop and wireless router!! I may never  use the desktop again. :o)

Be careful about using it on a hard, flat surface. Mine would overheat without air being able to circulate underneath it, which baked the hard drive. Good times...

Thanks, Becky!! Mom's desktop is still on the desk, so I have ben using it from the couch and the bed(which is awesome, btw)

Thanks for the tip. Especially since all I have at the new job is a laptop for now, that sits on my hard flat desk.

When I made the move the only thing I kept from the desktop is the screen and keyboard. When I need to see the "Big Picture" I hook them up to my laptop.

Technically the desktop is mom's,so we won't get rid of it; although all she really does is check the obits onine & play Scrabble online. She refuses to get an email because it is too much to rememebr, but she sure can remember how to get to her Scrabble game. LOL
