300

Oooh. The trailer for 300 gives me the chills! The movie, based on a Frank Miller graphic novel, has something to do with 300 Spartans standing up against over 1,000 Persian Soldiers. It's directed by Zack Snyder, the fellow who did the Dawn of the Dead remake. I'm verily looking forward to it. Looks interesting ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if it's my place to say, but sometimes, that sort of fear (even as suffocating as it may have been), can be an incredible catalyst. I've had past experiences where it's taken the darkest points of my life to really push a positive change. Even as a physical thing, like say, an extreme sport that some Adrenaline Junkies enjoy, it's really that rush of fear, and the desire to conquer it, that can galvanize someone into action.

Bu~ut, I bet it would've been scarier if a train was about to hit you while you were being operated on for two different surgeries at the same time by your therapist and psychiatrist, while some silent stranger stands just behind your field of vision... and that stranger... turns out to be YOU! *cue dramatic music*

Eh heh. Waxing poetic, and waxing into nonsense. I blame it on not being asleep like I should be. But then again, I finally caught up on the Naruto manga, thanks to a certain weblink someone gave me. XD

Okay. Now maybe I'll sleep... but I wanna know what Shikimaru's going to do!

Arrrgh. I got distracted on my way to bed by watching The Daily Show clips!

Mmm, flies are holometabolic, like butterflies. So their larvae (maggots) hatch from eggs, and eventually go through a metamorphosis to their adult fly state. So like, I'm holometabolic. No, really! I wasn't always a geeky asian guy. I hatched out of an egg as a gooey pink larva. It wasn't till sometime shortly after college that I vomited up some fine silk to make my cacoon, that I became what I am today~

And on that note, it's back to trying to sleep. Maybe this time, I'll eat something. That always helps. =D
