RP Premise Idea

Keeping this entry public. I would greatly appreciate if you linked it about and saw if the concept can generate interest. Like mentioned before, I'm not making another RP without player interest.

I do not myself RP, but I would certainly read this if it were a novel. Whether that's a good quality or a bad one for an RP to have is something I don't actually know.

It looks really interesting, though. I have at least a couple people who RP on my f-list so I'll give it a link on my journal. Though I have no idea whether they are good at it or not. ^^;

Novels remind that I'm late on FRAGMENTS. ._.

I don't think this would work as a novel because of large cast potential, but it would work as a short story collection where every story focuses on a different team or character. It would be more slice-of-life that way, but that's not necessarily a flaw.

Thanks for pimping it. I would like to do it, but after the failure of my last two games (I ran and Utena and a Big O ones, both of which I might end up adapting into gaiden novels for FRAGMENTS), I don't intend to do anything if I don't have enough player response. Moderating a dying game is really depressing and not worth it.

I am reading FRAGMENTS, by the way. I haven't had. . .anything to say. . .because I'm only good for nitpicky things and not much else, but I look forward to each new part. ^^;

I could see it working as a novel (though a group of short stories probably would be better). . .you would end up limiting the scope a lot, and all the characters would be the ones not under copyright (so lots of Sherlock Holmes), but it could be very interesting. Probably if you are working with a free-form format you could do more with it, though, and you aren't limited in the worlds you can choose for it.

If I RPed, I would do it, I just don't have the mindset. ^^; Plus the only characters I can think of don't fit the setting too well.

But, yeah, I have tried to run a variety of club type things and almost every single one of them has died on me. It is depressing.

Mmm~ I'm intrigued, to say the least. It would definitely make for less of the stagnated feeling that comes hand in hand with some trapped in a city with no way out games lately.

Would definitely need a dedicated moderation and playerbase to keep missions from stagnating-- which would be my biggest concern.

But, I'd be interested in playing there, at least?
