Perhaps, the concept of "wasting time" is really just the product of adult minds.

Cause I sure don't remember thinking that playing dress-up and sailing to America (17 million times) was a waste of time when I was 10.

I agree. It was never a waste of time when I had to make sure the house was moored properly so it wouldn't float away during the deluge or when building lego house after lego house was a necessity -- not a waste of time.

Honestly, if you are enjoying yourself and not hurting anyone then I don't believe there is such a thing as "wasting time".
