I just joined the Pacific Masters and US Masters swimming organizations. Not because I swim well, but in preparation for registering for an open water swim organized by the Sierra Nevada Masters. These people must all think highly of themselves, or must be very dommy.

See, I read "masters" as a verb: U.S. masters swimming, other countries still working on it.
