I’m writing again and I’m hoping I can jump start myself with some prompts.

I actually have an AO3 account. I've got some of my old stuff and some other genre stuff on there too. It's under Gedry.

What fandoms? I loved your work in Supernatural, but I'm willing to stretch if you have a hankering for other characters to play with *ahem* story-wise.

One that has been bouncing around in my head forever is the boys at an animal shelter in any kind of combination - Dean works there and loves cats and then Cas comes in accompanying a friend who wants to adopt but says he hates cats, or they are all staff/volunteers there, or Sam's a vet and Dean comes to visit one day and meets his weird vet tech, etc., etc., etc.

I love this. I'm signed up for a bang and I'm going to use this idea for my story. I wanted you to know that it will be a while before you see it but I'm totally going to get this done.

Also all the credit to you for this.

Sam as a vet, Dean his somewhat unlikely occasional vet tech/animal control officer. Cas as a wildlife rehab specialist who is really bad at people. AND a procupine.

Lovely to hear from you! I am always grateful for any thing you want to share, but seeing you opening wide requests I got a sudden flash of wondering what would gedry do with John Wick? Prince of thieves Will Scarlet? maybe NCIS Tony? Complete weird brain flood of seeing your style and world building crafting these guys. I adore your Supernatural work, it is one of my go to re-read body of works and so original the characterisation the world building, I could not even begin to give a prompt that would touch your own originality.
Thank you for everything you have shared with us I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your time, talent and vision.
I keep having brain blurbs of characters for you to play with..Tony Stark....Nori Ri... Joshua Faraday ... Ok going to thump my head of a desk for a while.

Oh wow, Gedry! One of my first and favorite DeanCas writers! You came back at the right time :) I just decided to come out of lurking as well for Supernatural's last season lol

I signed up to do podfics and since the guidelines are pretty loose for that medium they've said I can work with another writer if I can't pull it together to write a new fic for it myself lol :s If you're interested I'd love to do a podfic for you, whether I come up with something myself or not!

Or hell, sign up for the digital print if it strikes you, the submission date isn't closed yet!

Anyway, it's just nice to see you back after all this time <3

Hi Gedry I'm glad to see you back.

Since I recently re-read a number of your fics and loved the 50 first kisses/first times ones, how about first time Sam/Gabriel if you are still writing the ship?
