TV commentary:
The 100- Yikes! Well shit, I can't visit the 100 tumblr tag now, because it will prolly be crazy for the foreseeable future. Not only did they kill Bellamy off, it was by Clarke's hands. So man are there a lot of pissed of Bellarkes out there. I was going to say maybe he survives his wounds, after all Russheda is practically at death's door, but from the previews it looks like he's fine.
But, they've already done interviews with Jason, who's defending Bellamy's death and thanking Bob Morley for his time on the show, so I guess he's done. I mean, it could all be an elaborate ruse, but part of me has always suspected that Bellarke would never come to fruition. That certain sections of the fandom wanted it too much that the showrunners were itching to spite them.
I mean, Bellamy could be dead for real too, after all, its the end of the series, so what do they care now? What are people going to do, not watch the last three eps? Its the end, so its not like a ratings drop means anything. Bellarkers are a vocal part of the fandom, but they're not the only people watching, so the show will still get views. And with the lack of programming because of the pandemic, its not like the CW would have anything to show in its place anyways. Not to mention its not like they could change anything anyways. Its all filmed and done.
That being said though, if it is an elaborate ruse it seems mean to go all in on acting like Bellamy is gone. Because yes, there are people who would quit the show and not finish it because of this. So even though I said in the previous paragraph it doesn't matter for the show, it would suck for those people to miss out on the show because they think he's dead and then find out he's really alive and have to go back and watch.
Heh, I did peek at the Clexa tag though, and its pretty hilarious right now.
