Did you meet this girl on the Internet? If so, that is why she is uncomfortable about it. It's not you at all...it's the fact that she can't tell her friends "I'm dating someone" because they will ask "Oh really? Where'd you meet him?" And she'll be too ashamed to say it was from the Internet. I would feel the same way talking about meeting someone from online...it's still considered "sad" in a way. Know what I mean?
