It seems as though something is happening to all my buddies, budgies. I can't express how ungrateful I feel for having my mine, when I know I am VERY grateful, they're my babies. If something happened to Ms. Petey or Hunny I don't know what I would do.. I'm also considering getting two more Budgies, but then someone at my work wants to get rid of ( Read more... )

just get mom two budgies, and let someone else take care of the cockatiel. suggest they bring it into the shelter, or maybe contact that parrot sepc people.

I think the only way I would be able to get another bird is to get my own place. So unless my mom is cool about taking him in at her house I more than likely won't have any other choice but to say no. :(

I see no other way to reach you and I need help if you are able. I found a baby bird on it's back, flailing around in a puddle of water at the car wash. I don't know what it is, but I have a digital camera and can send if necessary. I want to save the little one, it seems healthy. Eyes are not open yet, very minimal feathering. WHAT TO DO???

It's a House sparrow, you can feed it wet cat food (dry cat food soaked in water) any brand, and after you have soaked it, just cut it into bite size pieces. (Birdie bite size that is.)

Do you have an old empty butter container? or anything like this;

here, a friend of mine sent this link....it seems "drew" likes the sugar water and I'm going to contact help after I take care of the family.

noo, don't feed them sugar water, it has no nutritional value what so ever!
