What a beautiful afternoon. I must spend some of it outdoors. I've been doing some research on Germanic linguistics, and became intrigued. This website, in particular, has fascinated me, especially the consonant shifts (Grimm's Law) which sets Germanic languages apart from other language groups... and there's your German-Latin connection
