It looks ready to storm outside.

Best day for therapy, amirite?

I wish every time I thought it was getting better, it didn't get worse.

I hear you loud and clear, anon. It's like one step forward, a giant leap back. Life sucks like that. But sometimes it gives you a break and you're able to run farther than where you would have been. Don't lose faith. <3

I feel like the only time I'm appreciated is when I'm at school. Sometimes I hate going home. And it's not like I have a terrible family -- I have a great family; I just don't connect with them and I always let them down.

This. Times about a million.

When I was in high school, I dreaded going home once in a while. You tell them you made a B on a test, and immediately it's, "Why isn't it an A? Didn't you study? Why didn't you do better?" It's not fair. To any of us. *hug*

The whole Web scene changes for me every few years. I fall out of the loop, or else the loop falls apart; and so back to square one I go. This time around, I ventured into (shall we say) AnimeLand; and although it's been a rewarding experience on a few levels, the over-arching impression is one of contentious people who love tearing things down rather than discussing whys and wherefores of that story-telling medium.

Iconoclasts are only interesting for a little while, so I'm working my way out of the anime-games-manga cyber world of malcontents and back into that quadrant occupied by my Webby friends of yore. These cyber-culture changes are draining, but there's something worthwhile to be learned from them.
