Come Help GeekAlpha Move (again)!

Saturday, November 7th at 10 a.m. I will be loading a truck with my possessions to move from the current Geek-Enclave to the new Geek-Cave.

I would really like a few extra hands to lighten the load and get stuff on and off the truck.

Pizza and Beer will be provided.

btw, do you need boxes or are you good to go? I *might* have some yet unclaimed.

I don't think I need any more boxes. I scored a pretty good pile of them from Jen and Bryan's move as well as a huge load from QFC.

I will will know for sure if I need a couple more boxes after Pack-fest on the 3rd.

We did. I'm getting a place by myself on mutual agreement with my housemate.

My new place is much closer to work and with a shorter commute to all of the places I spend my free time.

The up-side is that I did get my stuff much more organized while I have lived here. I also got rid of some furniture (the couch in particular), so the load should be much lighter over all.

I am also getting significant help packing up on Tuesday, so the move itself should be significantly easier - get stuff on the truck and get it off.

I have a lot of help this time ahead of time, I just need bodies to get stuff in and out.

Yep again. My new place is right around the corner from work. My housemate experiment was not ideal in practice. There was no drama or anything, I just had to change plans.

Current digs are very far for the non-driver here. Where are the new digs gonna be, perhaps I can help with the unloading at the new place.

The new digs are in Bothell, right off the freeway (probably not so helpful either).

I may be able to swing a ride if you are up for coming early.
