iPod vs other mp3 players

I have a 30gig ipod video that I recieved as a surprise gift. I've always thought about buying a mp3 player but could never decide what was right for me. I have a Rio300 or 600 from back in the day before ipod and I decided that I would just wait until there was a choice that I felt was best ( ... )

I haven't had that bad experiences with my iPod. I have 20GB iPod and I've dropped it a few times walking up stairs or just about on campus and it still plays fine. I am in no way saying that if I drop more times, it won't cease to live. Any electronic device has its limits. The new video iPods seem a bit more fragile as my friend has one and we traded iPods for a few weeks ( ... )

I have to say i like the ipod too..i have one of the origional ones...no color screen or any of that...but its still good...I have dropped it many times as i am very clumsy and it is still in good shape...I get okay battery usage...i just have to charge it every night while i sleep and i have no problems...i dunno..tho ...depends on what u need...i didnt really look up on my stuff before i got mine either...
