So, I have in my possession a package containing two (frozen) filet mignons and two lobster tails. The filet mignons I can cook, no problem. My question is concerning the lobster tails. I have no experience with cooking lobster - in fact, I have never even eaten a lobster tail in my life.

Can anyone share with me some tips on how to cook these

i find this link helpful. especially the thawing overnight part.
my favorite way to eat lobster tail is with lemon, garlic butter sauce (very easy to make, just melt some butter with garlic salt and crush a fresh lemon wedge over your opened lobster tail.

I wish I could help, but alas, I am allergic to lobster and cannot eat it. Which makes me sad, it looks so cool and a lot of fun to cook and eat.

Alton Brown has an interesting recipe for steamed-then-broiled stuffed lobster tails, but it seems you need a whole lobster to start with, to get the extra lobster meat needed to make the stuffing.

And because I am far too fascinated by this food I cannot eat, I found some recipes on the food network site for you.

Yer basic lobster with butter

Slightly fancier - grilled with a vinagrette sauce

And a bit more complex - thermador style
