Cut for diet Musings
So I've finished my first two weeks of South Beach. I'm down 16.4 lbs. I'm 9.6 lbs away from my first mini goal which I reached on my last go around on Atkins. It'll be nice when I get to it. It'll feel like I'm not re-doing everything.
So I'm excited about Phase II. I can add in fruits and whole grains now. This morning Karl made me a raspberry sorbet to start the morning... it was just raspberries, crushed ice and splenda but it was so yummy!!
I'm trying to throw in an exercise routine in the mist of all this crazyness and it isn't working to well. I'm going to try and get up earlier and ride the bike for atleast 30 minutes every morning. I also have a Yoga for weightloss DVD I really want to do, and I've heard pilates is good for toning especially if you are heavier person who will have access skin after huge loss which I certainly am and likely will so if I can reduce that would be great. (though i'll likely need some form of surgery after my loss is complete.) But I'm getting ahead of myself when I think of the full picture I feel overwhelmed so I'm breaking it down... For now I'm only worried about the 9.6 lbs I have to go till my next mini goal.
