trangely enough, it's actually easier on days when I have to wake up at 4:30 or 6:30 am and go straight to work, probably because I operate mostly on auto-pilot once I get there.

I can totally relate, but for me, waking up early and just operating on autopilot means I don't have time to make excuses to get out of doing things.
