You WRIT this just RIGHT! Meaning exactly how I had imagined, except for possibly how extremely unhappy Jack and James are about the situation (firing across your own ship's bow? Tom's son will be entering university before he'll comfortably sit again!;-})
Love that they are so freely able to admit their love again and that Anne socked him, I love a good scuffle in my readings.
There best be a big old Deus, a whopper of one in the old machina if Tom is going to be alive later! Poor babies both of them and Anne is definitely the more level headed of the two it seems...LOVE this story==yes I'm shouting happily away, too bad you're missing the this is COOL BEANS dance. Yep, pretty amusing. Thanks.
Firing across a ship's bow, from my understanding, was just a way to get attention and tell them you mean business. Which, of course, they do.
I am happily imagining the This is COOL BEANS dance! Sorry to leave such a cliffhanger (oh, OK, I'm not really sorry). More tomorrow morning. Yay for three day weekends, eh?!
Yes to three glorious days...although mine have been spent upending my house so as to have room for my new large tv toy! And you cannot imagine the dust flying from that one! Serious dads in pursuit--just glad it's not me...lol and you already told on yourself--you love a cliff hanger better than ice cream...
miz felaine You have to admire the way that Tom's self-esteem is playing out, that he feels confident of his parents continuing to love him even when he has made unusual choices in the past..., but lord love a duck, the child is just wild as a march hare in some regards and thinking things through part of his brain is still developing maybe...the dust will settle, the Sparrow name will probably be enhanced, in a skewed and definitely off-beat manner. Life is good for Jack and his brood. I'm wondering how the wives will fare in the settling of this dust.
And I didn't realize the bed was really The Bed. Ohmyword!
Well, we'll see how Tom the Terrible gets out of this one. Love the ship description. Too bad there wasn't a bowl of fruit, Anne could have hit him with an apple. (still misses Hector) Felaine
Hector is long gone in these stories, but yay! He seems to have a big part in the next film! How we love Geoffrey Rush. Did you see The King's Speech? He's fabulous in that!
The apple would certainly have been appropriate, I should've thought of that. Thank you for reading and commenting.

I have to agree. This stunt of Tom's is going to make more trouble than he suspects!
And of course his Dad caught up in short order- he's Jack Sparrow! I doubt I'll be envying Tom in the next chapter. :S
