Such a lovely ending for them all, glad they will be together at the island. You dealt with the next-gen being apart briefly very well, realistic. Made January much brighter, dear lady. Felaine
Oh, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, and you know how I like to wrap things up neatly, at least for the moment, lol -- just like real life. One has to be mindful and appreciate those happy times.
*nods* Also as does RL, stories do continue and I'm pleased you're considering adding to this canon at intervals. Perhaps if a series so long is too time-consuming, just a glimpse of them at holidays like Valentine's Day...Easter...Christmas...Halloween...Ash Wednesday...Arbor Day...Earth Day...you get the idea. ;) *hugs* Felaine
I like happy endings, too, as you know, though stories never end entirely. Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to leave such wonderful comments all the way through.
ETA: I've put out an offer to create related stories/"deleted scenes", if you're interested in giving me a prompt. :D
It was a pleasure to read! I thought you've done a great job of explaining backstory in an unobtrusive way, since I haven't gotten around to reading much of the other Harry and the Pirate stories, but I pretty much knew what was going on. And as always, you write beautifully and engagingly. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work! (which was the more adult way of saying, "I want more stories, geekmama! again, again!" :P )
I didn't realize you were reading along. I am glad to hear that there was sufficient backstory provided, that's something of a relief. More stories will be on the way, no doubt, as writing is the best of all escapes from RL.
Thank you so much for reading and letting me know you enjoyed!
All done and all’s well that ends well, like George says and Weatherby was about to :-) It makes me very glad to see Tom and Anne together at long last, after such complications. They truly deserve such a sweet, happy ending, as do the rest of them, of course. It's been a journey, following all these characters, and you make them come to life wonderfully!
It was my pleasure, and it was fun getting to read it before everone else. *g*
If there is a "deleted scene" or story you'd like to read, let me know. Ooh, let me think for a bit and I'll get back to you on that :-) And you really shouldn't leave it for good, that would be too sad. Whether you write more multi-chaptered stories or not there is always room for one-shots and fill-ins!
Thank you again, and yes, on-shots and fill-ins ftw -- I actually started one last night per felaine's prompt, maybe I can finish it this morning and send it off to you to look over. :D

If there is a "deleted scene" or story you'd like to read, let me know. I find I am not quite ready to leave this universe for good.
