Oh, my dear friend, I'm so very sorry you got a Christmas bug, that's not the kind of gift one wants at all. I do hope you're feeling better today, and will be entirely recovered very soon, or at least to celebrate the new year. And that makes your own fic (Jack's portrait! *squees again*) doubly dear. *massive hugs*

It's the perfect totem for him imho becos he always acts as though that's what he means to do, regardless and he does land on his feet more often than not.

Isn't that the truth. Jack doesn't seem to be much for animals, but I think he'd like cats more than any other, for their independence, insouciance, and beauty.

So happy you are continuing and finishing this heartbreaking story! When I read it in 08, it made me cry. So much unsaid between them! Makes me warm and fuzzy to return to the land of Sparrabeth, as POTC4's Penelope Cruz never had a drop of chemistry with Johnny.

I am so glad to hear you are looking forward to more of this, I've been wanting to finish it for ages, but maybe it was meant to wait for this moment, eh? I have to say, I did enjoy Cruz in PotC4, but her character didn't grab me like Elizabeth's did and I haven't really been inspired to write Jack/Angelica much.

Sorry I took so long to reply, have been so under the weather, flu and its aftermath dragging me down all week. I am so happy you're enjoying this, and I'm really really going to try to get the rest of it written and posted by tomorrow, which was my original plan, no more WIP's!!
