Fic: 'Honorable Intentions' - Ch. 1: In an English Country Garden (sh/mh - G)

Apr 19, 2016 21:59

So this was (and is -- just got through posting the 12th part of it on AO3) a series of ficlets designed to work out my Sherlock/Molly head canon. It borrows a few ideas from other folks' work, as usual, but the writing is all mine.

This is 1450 words, features Sherlock, Molly, and Sherlock's father, and was written for the 'Outsides' prompt.

Molly likes gardens, and there’s one in particular that Sherlock wants her to see... )

Such a pleasure to read your writing once more, dearest lady.

Admit I don't follow the SH TV or movies, just read the books, so I looked up Molly in Wikipedia, to catch up.

Eager for the rest of this tale, and enjoyed the drabbles.

*hugs you like crazy, in a non-stalker-y way*

*hugs you back, bouncing*

Yay! You're still here! And I'm so glad you liked this. Sherlock/Molly is in no way canon (on the show I'm sure hers will always be an unrequited love, unless pigs fly or something), but there is enough there to make an A/U work, if one squints sideways. I do hope you get a chance to watch Sherlock. I've not read the stories until now (and I've only just started, really), but it's amazing how many elements of the originals are referenced in the show. The production is just the best of British comedy and high drama and everything in between, completely entertaining.

Must zoom -- going on a school field trip to Disneyland with the drama students today! But again, so very good hearing from you.

A little bird told me that you were writing again!!! Welcome back to the crew, fair lady. It's great to see you out and about.

The urge to put words to paper.... or rather, screen, is an irresistible one, isn't it? Once it starts, there's no peace until you fulfill it.

Going to try to keep up.

Again, it's grand to see you back in form, m'dear!

Oh my gosh, so great to hear from you! I really though I'd lost the writing bug, but you never know when fandom love will strike.

Hope you will be enjoying a wonderful Mother's Day tomorrow!

*Hugs!!*
