Time off...
I need to catch up here.
I took Thursday and Friday off work to try and just relax. I was trying to hold out till CONvergence in July but that wasn't happening.
I tried to unplug from the Internet and did well till yesterday when a friend texted me about the passing of a con friend. I used to work with him on the MarsCon convention. He then went into the military and served in the Middle East. After he got back he and his wife moved to Belize. They were some if my favorite con people.
Dov was 42.
I really don't know the details of his death yet.
I am still floored about it along with everyone else.
I don't know, it's just hard to swallow right now. I haven't seen him since he moved but everyone he would post a sunrise picture and talk about how blessed he was and how good life was.
The world lost a good person.
