[Log Posted Sunday. Entire post is in both English and Japanese]

Hello, everyone. Still hoping to get in touch with my team; honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if they saw this. We've been through stranger...or at least, as strange of things before. (No, really. Trust me on this.)

Anyway. I found Mia Fey's speech at the ice-rink quite compelling. She ( Read more... )

Of course, I'd be happy to! That definitely something you would find useful. How about we set up a schedule; say, an hour every evening? You'll have it down in no time, especially since you already speak it fluently.

I... I'm kind of a fast learner...

Great! I'm sure you'll do fine.
Oh, do you know a guy named Negi Springfield? I think he's closer to your age, and he mentioned that he's had experience teaching English. Would it make you more comfortable if he helped out?

You're welcome.

{Tomorrow would work fine. How about around 3:30? We could do have tutoring sessions maybe three or four times a week. You'll have it down in no time.}

Wow, that's quite impressive. I speak Japanese and English fluently and actually teach an English class to Japanese students back home, so, if you need any assistance, please let me know.

Hey, that would be great, actually! I have one boy who wants to learn to read English and a Japanese man wanting to speak English more fluently, so I could probably use your help at some point. I haven't been an actual teacher in so long that your experience in that area would probably come in handy.

I'm sure it won't be a problem. I haven't been a teacher that long but I've learned a lot, especially with the large class I had.

Just inform me when you'd like me to help.

Sorry, I've been trying to figure out how to teach it... It's rather a puzzling question.

I mean I could just talk and name objects and hope you can catch on with cue cards, but... really its not something we learn... we just kinda know it.

And not just our own language, every Pokemon knows every other Pokemon's speech patterns, as well as several types of Human speech.

I can see why you'd be having problems trying to teach it. That's sounds pretty complex. However, I'd still like to give it a try. I haven't yet encountered a language where I couldn't at least master the basics, so whether this will be the first or not is something to be determined.

We could always start by simple association...like you said, pointing things out and saying the word. I've encountered a race who's language felt similar to yours, so that might give me a basis for comparison.

It's up to you, of course. If you want to give this a try, let's set up a meet date and see where it goes from there.
