Ok.. so a while back, I told this friend of my mom's that I would help him get the word out about his conference. I knew I had some friends who might be interested in the topics being offered, and thought it sounded interesting. I then found out it was $275 to attend the whole conference, and realized that a lot of my friends (like me) do not have

Damnit, all the cool shit happens when I'm gone! (no, I will not drive back just for the conference; that's just strange, plus I have to work 5 days in a row next week)
And it's kind of upsetting that attendance isn't where we'd like it to be. I'll mention it to some of my friends.
