when i was growing up, my dad made us a lego tray that fit under the bed. just pull the tray out and all the legos were there! it lived under my brother's bed even though the both of us were constantly using them. my kids are only 3.5 and 2 right now and my brother's kid hasn't been born yet. however, when they are of age, i'm sure something similar will come into existence.

i'm very impressed with your handiness and your attention to detail. i can't wait to get out of this stupid apartment and back into a house with a garage/work space so that we can do these things ourselves.

This is awesome. We don't have enough room in our place for a table that size so right now we build out of a rubbermaid underbed box. Very cool table!

Good idea to use lego bricks to keep the baseplates aligned while they were drying! This looks awesome!
