I've got an 'audition' to join a rock and roll/rockabilly band on Monday night!
I posted an ad on gumtree.com saying that I was a guitarist looking to join/form a band, and got an email from this guy who has a full band already put together, except for a rhythm guitarist. We had a chat on the phone and he said that they're rehearsing every Monday night, I'm welcome to come along and see how things go.. so it was more of an invitation than an audition. Though they haven't heard my playing yet!
