Guys. GUYS. Anyone who's had me friended for any length of time is likely aware of the major hard-on I have for horror themed videogames. It sounds completely lame, I know, but to me settling down with a brand spanking new survival horror game with the lights off, the curtains drawn, and an empty house is pretty close to Heaven. Yeah, I actually really enjoyed it too. I think a lot of people got angry as hell because as far as Silent Hill storylines go it was pretty shallow, but that's not taking into account the fact that they only had a movie to get it all out in compared to 8 hours or so of play. I love what they did with it - it was a fun, creepy movie with enough nods to the games to make me giggle and cheer.

Radha Mitchell is awesome.

Heh, that bit of the game ALWAYS makes me lose it even though I know I'm just gonna wake up in the diner with Hot Cybil.

Heh, yeah, it really says something that he's considered to make the WORST game-to-movie adaptations.
