Another Day, Another Wedding Date

I definitely didn't plan on picking a third wedding date. When we changed it the first time, we discussed it and even though I was the one that picked out the date, Mike gave the okay and I really liked the idea of having our honeymoon on Valentine's Day. But Jean came to us the other day and she said that she thought we should change the date ( Read more... )

Oh well, viewing things in that light, moving the wedding seems like a wise choise, because, well, you do want your guests to be able to get there and be safe. I bet the new date is gonna be perfect and make you so happy.

Thanks. :) I'm happy with our decision. The first two dates we picked, I was happy with them and I did discuss them with Mike somewhat, but he mostly left the decision in my hands. I suggested a date and he was like "ok." But this time, even though ultimately he still said it was up to me, we really talked about it and he had his reasons for wanting the date as well. Despite what his mother said, when we looked at each other and said we still felt this date was right for us, I knew we came to the right decision.

Any processed food you buy is either going to be high in fat - usually bad trans fats - or high in sugar. Or tasteless. I can just about guarantee it ( ... )

We've been trying to include more beans (and nuts) in our diet because Mike says, and I've read, that they're some of the healthiest things you can eat.

What is boiled eggs and soldiers?

I felt kind of stupid but I had to learn how to make scrambled eggs a few months ago. I've gotten pretty good at it, and I try to make that occasionally for breakfast.

That's what I figured about the airfare. We're definitely going early notice to our families of the date.

Thanks for the advice!

Boiled eggs and soldiers: soft boiled eggs, you break off the tops and dip strips of toast in the yolks. Delicious! Here in Australia, it's de riguer to put vegemite on the toast to add more salty goodness to it all. The easiest meal ever.

Thanks, sounds good. I definitely know Mike would like it. He's been boiling a lot of eggs for his breakfast lately.
