Teen Wolf is Back!...Yay?

Jun 23, 2014 16:07

I want to be excited about TW coming back but when I think about it I just either get apprehensive or start frothing at the mouth. When I found out Teen Wolf would be back on June 23rd after the finale, my first thought was "That soon?" And I still feel the same way. I just wish there was a longer wait between seasons, then maybe my aggravation ( Read more... )

I was excited about TW coming back until I read this and learned that Isaac isn't coming back. What the fuck? Why? That's some bullshit.

I ran out of TV to watch, so I was browsing through Netflix and watched the first ep of The Vampire Diaries last night. I said to Nic, "It's like Teen Wolf but WORSE!" I don't hate-watch so much as LOLOL-watch. I have shit else to watch over the summer, so we'll see what happens.

Oh, no I didn't mean to spoil that for you. I'm used to being on sites where casting news isn't considered a spoiler, so that's why I didn't put that under a spoiler cut. I can't blame you for not having figured it out while watching the show, since there was no clear indication he was leaving, even though JD had plenty of time to write a real exit ( ... )

Yeah, Melissa seems to be their default face basically for the hospital, so they have her doing stuff normal nurses probably wouldn't do ( ... )

I think what I mean about the coach is sort of in the same context as Melissa at the hospital. They don't show too many teachers, so they often use the coach more than they should. He's funny, tho.

You're right---Allison wasn't afraid of Scott either, so I'm trying to think why I like Kira better. Maybe it's her uncertainty? I think as soon as Allison got all bold, she started to annoy me. Not that I don't like a strong female character, but...maybe it's what you said. The bold way she is with Isaac. It's like, as soon as she got sexual with Scott, she was like all BAMF in the sex department so that she's going to whip her shirt off or whatever. Idk.

It's probably my age a bit...it's not like I was ever a prude, but I think hs kids have way too much sex. I've seen them just much too comfortable with it, and the show really promotes that. I think it would be better if these kids were in college rather than hs. Just my opinion.

I actually think we see a lot of teachers on the show besides the coach. There was that annoying douche teacher that was killed in 3A. Deaton's sister was a guidance counselor. Gerard was a principal. Allison and Lydia's moms were/are teachers. I don't think I've seen coach do anything that falls outside what he as a coach/teacher would do. Like he was the one taking the kids out of town in 3A because they were going on a sports trip. I think with Melissa, since she's basically the only regular/important character that works on the hospital, they use her a lot, since they don't seem to want to hire many extras ( ... )

I loved Isaac, too! He was my favorite.

I thought the premiere didn't suck, but there was nothing much I loved about it. I missed Isaac and Allison a lot.

Daniel left voluntarily, probably caue the writing sucked, to try out for pilot season and other projects. He's already landed a gig on "The Originals."

I'm guessing there'll be some one line mention of Isaac being gone in the next episode when they're back in Beacon Hills. I think it sucks, but is par for the course with this show, that they're basically glossing over Allison's death as much as possible.
