Sorry for the late reply.

It's definitely complicated, but it wasn't really traumatic news, just weird.

Wow, that's really sad about your niece and her mom. I hope you and her family can help her with her questions.

Nothing like a wedding, or funeral, to bring a lot of family, and family issues, out of the woodwork.

Oh yeah.

My mom and I are both named Lucy so birthdays are super hard. I think someones talking to my mom when they've been trying to get my attention for 10 minutes and visa versa XD

When my dad retires he wants to go to Mexico and kinda of construct our family tree. His side is super mysterious and my mom's side is quickly vanishing (she's the youngest person in her whole extended family and she's 55)

LOL. It's cool that you're named after your mom. I've joked with Mike about wanting to name a future daughter Anastasia (which for some reason Stacey is a shortened form of) that way she could be a junior, without having to necessarily be one.

Wow that your mom is the youngest at 55. Hope your dad has look with reconstructing his side of the family tree.

Thanks. It's weird finding this all out. I don't necessarily have a burning desire to meet the "new" family, but I am curious about how much family I have out there.
