I Should Probably Be More Grateful

I got a new job for the holidays. It's at Big Lots - another cashiering position. I wasn't really looking for the job. I think I'd applied there before, but hadn't recently. I totally get where you're coming from here since I've worked in retail/customer service basically ever since I started working and always had to do with people. And I pretty much prefer it that way to be honest. I could never work in an office without contact to many people or such, so yeah...

But I do get that it's not everyone's thing and not EVERYONE is built to do a job like this, so I am not sure what to wish you here. Only that I hope for your sake it won't be too bad and that it's a "limited" job and you'll find something else pretty soon...

It just sucks if you have big plans (and you do with the wedding) but not the money to afford them :/

I used to think I'd be bored stiff with an office job (and I'm not sure if I'm wrong) but given the comments I've gotten at my last couple of jobs, I'd probably be better suited to it.

Thanks. Even if I do keep the job beyond this month, I'll probably look for something else because I can tell this place isn't a great fit for me.

Definitely sucks.

Even though you don't like being a cashier, I really hope they ended up keeping you on after the holidays!! And of course that you'll find a better job eventually!
