This happened a couple of months ago, and I even wrote a post about it at the time, but didn't get around to posting it until now ( Read more... )

I'm pretty short too so that was a slight problem as well - not getting to see much.

Oddly enough, for me, the noise wasn't that much of an issue - just getting shoved around and having soda bottles chucked near my head.

Was definitely so grateful we finally found it.

Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself :( I does sound awful, especially the rowdy crowd and the soda. But at least you know what to expect next time I guess? If you say, you did enjoy some of the music, you might have a better time next time if you come prepared ;)

Yeah, now that I know what to expect I can be prepared and probably have a better time.

That sounds like quite the night! I've never been to a metal concert before but it doesn't sound like something I'd be able to do. I'm glad you went with Mike though and that he was able to have a good time, despite all the disasters. He's lucky to have you! :)

I think that wouldn't have been my crowd either. I usually listen to country and pop music, occasionally normal rock, but definitely not like that...

But I can imagine that heavy metal crowds can be a piece of work on this case...

Most concerts I've ever been to were standing concerts but usually not for 4 hours... it's mostly 2 hours or a little more than that, at most... and if it's my favourite singers/bands, I love to be closer to the stage and such and really "celebrate"...

I don't think I've ever been to a concert of someone I absolutely didn't like/didn't know, but I can imagine it's stressful...

Either way, I think it's adorable that you did that for Mike and I'm sure he appreciates it :)

I think I was expecting a rowdy crowd - but no as rowdy as it was.

Thankfully, Mike was very appreciative. :)
